Bar Interior Design

Whether a cocktail lounge, a speakeasy, or a bar within another space, we know how to design a spot where guests will stay a while. We design every corner of the space with intention and care. Are you looking to have a romantic evening getaway? A party after the after party? What about a tiny space hidden behind a cooler with a password? Let us design your space so you can get back to what really matters - exploring your next mezcal flight or touring a new winery. (But add us to the reservation, okay?)

HOT TAKES

Our spicy opinions about bars, cocktails, and design.

  • Some patrons appreciate advanced features like digital menus, interactive tables, and immersive lighting, while others argue that excessive technology can detract from the social and intimate atmosphere of a bar. Let’s figure out a perfect middle ground that feels right for you.

  • A playlist can make or break a space. You always realize the music if it’s really bad or really good, so might as well make it really good.

  • You don’t need a 1920’s prohibition era, tiki inspired, or an arcade to have a bar with a waitlist. We’ll help you come up with a concept that’s true to you.

Featured Project: 36 Below

36 Below is an immersive cocktail bar located under Sip Coffee in Phoenix. Patrons are transported to an underground greenhouse that activates all the senses. Through the virtual window displays and the ever-evolving cocktail menu, 36 Below offers a new experience every visit.

THE WAY WE DO IT

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

The most essential phase of our process, this is the moment creativity is sparked and ideas are born. During Concept Development, we go through a series of strategic exercises that help us develop a solid concept and aesthetic direction. Throughout the remaining design process, we refer back to this phase to ensure proper application and execution of our creative concepts.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

During this phase, each construction detail, material, plumbing and electrical specification is accounted for and refined to ensure you receive the most accurate bid from contractors. Once the drawings are handed off, we act as an oversight and support resource between you and the contractor.

FURNITURE PROCUREMENT

The actual procurement (purchase) of the furniture, art, and accessories happens after our design is created, presented and approved by you. During this phase, we refine our selections. In addition to budgeting and purchasing your furnishings, we manage the tracking, storage, delivery and complete installation of your items.
